Elexus is one of the bigger family-and-casino resorts on the Kyrenia coast — a large beachfront property in the Çatalköy area east of the city, with six swimming pools across two indoor and four outdoor surfaces, its own aquapark, five named restaurants, a substantial casino and a string of in-house entertainment venues.
Location & access
The resort sits on the eastern Kyrenia coast in Çatalköy, with its grounds running down to a private sandy beach on the Mediterranean. Ercan Airport is around 19 kilometres away — roughly half an hour by car via the central crossing. Central Kyrenia is a short drive west for guests who want an evening off-property.
Rooms
The room mix ranges from standard categories at the entry end up to the Royal Elexus Suite at the top. Every room covers the basics — air-conditioning, minibar, flat-screen TV, refrigerator, in-room safe — with many carrying private balconies and direct sea views. Dedicated family-room layouts make the property a popular choice for guests travelling with children.
Pools and aquapark
The swimming-pool layout is one of the deeper on the coast — four outdoor pools and two indoor pools, with the indoor surfaces usable across cooler months. The on-site aquapark adds a slide-park layer for families with children, and a separate children's pool covers the very young.
Beach
The private beach runs across the resort's seafront, with loungers, umbrellas and the Mia Beach Club operating along it. The beach club gives guests a slightly different evening atmosphere than the rest of the resort — beach-bar service, lighter food, sunset hours.
Dining
Five restaurants cover the dining offer. The main Reflection restaurant runs an international buffet across breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meyan Kebab covers authentic Turkish-grill cuisine. Kaluga is the à la carte fish restaurant. Additional outlets handle lighter and casual food across the property.
Spa, wellness and sport
The full-service spa includes a Turkish hammam, sauna, massage rooms and treatment suites. A fitness centre operates alongside, and a tennis court sits on the grounds for active guests. Landscaped gardens and a sun terrace provide outdoor space away from the pool decks.
Casino, nightclub and entertainment
The on-site casino is one of the property's bigger draws — table games, slots and regular dance shows including the popular Samba Brazil performance running multiple nights a week. The Code Disco nightclub operates inside the property for guests who want to stay on-resort after dinner, with the casino floor separated from the residential side of the hotel.
Kids and family programming
The kids' club is one of the larger ones on the Kyrenia coast — trampolines, soft-play areas, a children's cinema, supervised activities and the waterpark slides combine into a full-day programme. The depth of children's facilities is part of why Elexus draws a strong family-with-young-kids audience.
Who it suits
Elexus works best for visitors who want a large, full-service stay-on-resort experience — families with children who'll use the aquapark and kids' club, adults who'll work the casino and nightclub in the evenings, and couples who want a serious spa floor. Visitors looking for a smaller, more curated five-star may find the scale too busy; visitors who want a destination resort with everything inside one campus will find Elexus excellent for that.
