Lord's Palace is one of the closer five-star properties to central Kyrenia — a city-resort hybrid combining 250 hotel rooms with the Bella Marin beach complex, a rooftop pool with city views, the Odyssey seafront nightclub and one of North Cyprus's higher-profile casino floors. The British-inspired styling sets it slightly apart from the more Mediterranean-themed resorts further out along the coast.
Location & access
The hotel sits in Karakoumi, a short distance east of central Kyrenia, on what's marketed locally as "38th Street" — Kyrenia's compact entertainment strip. The walking distance to the centre is short by Kyrenia-coast standards, which makes Lord's Palace a useful base for visitors who want hotel comfort but evenings in the harbour-area restaurants and bars.
Rooms
The property runs 250 rooms across several categories — Deluxe Rooms, Sea View Rooms, Suites and King Suites (the last with private terraces). Every room covers the basics: flat-screen TV, air-conditioning, minibar, free Wi-Fi. Higher categories add private terraces and upgraded sea views, with the suites stretching into separate living areas.
Rooftop pool and beach
The standout pool is the rooftop pool — open-air, with views across Kyrenia and the coast — and one of the property's marketing differentiators. The Spa & Wellness Centre adds a substantial indoor pool, and a children's pool covers the family side. Beach swimming runs through the attached Bella Marin complex on the seafront below — a concrete platform with two designated sea swimming zones and a two-storey pool, plus loungers, cabanas and bars.
Spa, wellness and gardens
The Spa & Wellness Centre runs the standard luxury menu: sauna, treatment rooms, fitness centre, with an indoor pool inside the same wing. Landscaped gardens around the property and a sun terrace give guests outdoor space away from the pool decks.
Dining
The family-friendly main restaurant runs seafood and steakhouse menus, with halal options across the board. Breakfast is buffet-style — local specialities, fresh pastries, the usual hot-and-cold spread — and dinner pulls more attention to the kitchen's seafood programme. Several additional bars cover lighter food and after-hours drinks.
Sky Bar, Odyssey and the casino
The rooftop Sky Bar runs live DJ nights several times a week with the Kyrenia skyline behind it. In summer the hotel's seafront nightclub, Odyssey, opens — one of the more talked-about clubs in Cyprus, and a draw for guests who want the nightlife layer rather than just a beach holiday. The casino on the property is one of the better-known floors on the island, separated from the residential floors in the standard arrangement.
Who it suits
Lord's Palace works for visitors who want the casino-and-nightlife layer alongside a comfortable five-star base, particularly couples and adults travelling without small children. The rooftop pool and Sky Bar tilt the property toward an adult crowd in the evenings; the family pool and Bella Marin beach complex keep it workable for families too. Visitors who specifically want a sandy resort beach right outside their room are better served further west along the coast.
