Bella Marin is the beach-and-pool complex attached to Lord's Palace Hotel in Karakoumi, a short distance east of central Kyrenia. It's built around a concrete platform on the sea rather than a sand beach — the standard format for this rocky stretch of coast — paired with a large pool, restaurants, a spa, and a row of bars and shops on what's marketed locally as Kyrenia's "38th Street" entertainment strip.
Location & access
The beach is a little over one kilometre from central Kyrenia in the Karakoumi neighbourhood. Day visitors usually park on the surrounding streets — the main car park sits about 300 metres from the beach itself. Access is through the Lord's Palace Hotel complex; day-pass terms are set by the property and change seasonally.
The beach platform and pools
The seafront is built as a 180-metre concrete sun-deck on the water, with sun loungers and umbrellas laid out across the length. Two designated swimming zones operate in the sea, plus a two-storey pool inland for visitors who prefer freshwater. The combination works well for guests who want a polished platform setup rather than soft sand.
Facilities
The complex is fully equipped — changing cabins, showers, toilets, cafés and bars along the front. Lifeguards and medical staff are on duty during operating hours, which is more cover than most beach clubs on this coast provide.
Spa, dining and entertainment
A Japanese-style spa centre operates inside the complex with the usual treatments. The on-site restaurants run through the day, and the surrounding "38th Street" strip adds a shisha lounge, more bars, retail shops and live entertainment venues — turning Bella Marin into more of a day-into-night destination than a pure beach-club.
Who it suits
Bella Marin works for visitors who want a stylish platform-and-pool day with proper facilities and the option to roll straight into dinner, drinks and entertainment without changing locations. The concrete platform format may disappoint visitors specifically looking for soft sand — for that, the public beaches further west along the coast are the better pick.
