Karpaz Gate Marina is the only full-service marina at the start of the Karpaz peninsula, and its beach club is the polished face of an otherwise wild, undeveloped stretch of coast. The setup combines about 200 metres of private beach with a 33-metre infinity pool, a substantial spa floor and one of the more serious scuba diving operations in North Cyprus.
Location & access
The marina sits near Yeni Erenköy on the northern side of the Karpaz peninsula, well east of the main hotel coast at Iskele. The drive from central Famagusta is roughly an hour. Most visitors arrive by car; the marina also draws sailing visitors arriving by boat. The beach club is open to the wider public alongside marina and resort guests, though access policies vary by season.
The beach and infinity pool
The private beach runs around 200 metres along the marina's seafront, with sun loungers and umbrellas across both the sand and a wooden deck above it. A 33-metre infinity pool sits behind the beach, with a separate children's pool alongside. Private cabanas can be booked for the day on the deck. A floating water platform offshore extends the swimming and diving options.
Water sports and scuba diving
The on-site water-sports centre rents snorkel gear, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards for casual use. The bigger draw for serious water-sport visitors is the scuba diving operation — expert-led courses and guided dives along the Karpaz coast, which is one of the cleaner and less-trafficked diving stretches in the eastern Mediterranean.
Spa, hamam and fitness
"The Gallery" is the marina's fitness wing — a fully-equipped gym, a heated indoor pool and a jacuzzi. The spa floor adds Hamam+, a Turkish bathhouse experience with traditional exfoliating treatments, plus private therapy rooms running reflexology, Swedish massage and a longer list of body-work treatments.
Dining
The Beach Club restaurant covers daytime food and drinks. Hemingway's Resto-Bar on the marina promenade runs all day with international and Cypriot cuisine — the standard upgrade for visitors who want a longer meal away from the loungers.
Who it suits
Karpaz Gate Marina suits visitors who want a polished beach-and-pool day combined with proper water-sports access — particularly divers — somewhere considerably less developed than the Kyrenia coast. It's also a logical day trip if you're already exploring the Karpaz peninsula and want a comfortable lunch + beach stop before pushing further out to Golden Beach.
